Taking from the ancient aesthetic philosophy of Wabi sabi, Experimentia is the exploration of handmade objects made with a purpose to be broken, uneven glaze, cracks, to evoke a perverse beauty in their deliberate imperfection.

Solid black clay formed from one pieces of clay broken in three. The surface treated with a porcelain slip and kiln wash mixture and iron glaze. Fired in oxidation.
