Fertilitas 03 — ISHIUSU are stone mortars or millstones, which have been widely used in daily life throughout history and later were used as hand washing basins. Inspired by Ishiusu water bowl, Marcel Duchamps urinal, and a hemorrhagic cell.

Bisque fired
The smaller of the shapes only able to fill with water as the water rises and is able to fill both shapes. The sculpture is porous so will only hold water for a period of time before evaporating as it seeps through the vessel.
