Curatio Collection
Curatio is a collection of sculptures inspired by the medical procedures that sustain life. These mediative sculptures are representative of the short time we have and how time slows with new experiences.
Tempus Vertitur ~ 2017
Glazed formed reclaim clay mounted to timber frame with powdered pigment protruding edge. Fired in oxidation.
Time dilation is the slowing of time in accordance with the theory of relativity. Tempus vertitur is an exploration of time hanging. My hope was to capture the meditative state of mindfulness, extending time for the viewer as they try to capture the moment when the shadow completes the square.
